The ScanSnap and the ScanSnap Cloud server can be connected with each other via Wi-Fi. So, you can scan documents and save images with the ScanSnap alone. You do not need to start up a computer. 3.2 Downloading and running the tool. Connect the computer with ScanSnap Evernote Edition via a USB cable in order to download and run the tool for changing ScanSnap Evernote Edition to ScanSnap iX500. Run the tool on the computer that the software for ScanSnap Evernote Edition (ScanSnap Manager Evernote Edition) is installed on. You can directly access popular cloud services.4 such as Box, Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, Google Photo, OneDrive etc. ScanSnap Cloud delivers scanned data directly from your ScanSnap iX1600, iX1500 or iX100 to your favorite cloud services without a computer or mobile device. Saving a Scanned Image in a Cloud Service by Using ScanSnap Cloud
ScanSnap Cloud can be used to automatically detect a type of image ('Documents', 'Business Cards', 'Receipts' or 'Photos') created from a document that you scan, and sort and save the scanned images to a cloud service that you specified for each document type.
