This is an awesome app that most people probably aren’t aware of. While it may not be suited for the average person, for someone who likes to make videos or films they should find this app a must have. There are so many uses for this app the possibilities are endless. I have mainly used it to add photos to my videos for special effects. For example you can add a video of yourself swinging a plastic sword, then add a lightsaber png image (or a photo and you can cut out the lightsaber), placing it in the video over the plastic sword. There’s a animation layout with a timeline and here you can control every movement of the lightsaber accurately down to .1millisecond tracking it with the plastic sword accurately to render a video of you wielding a lightsaber! They really have covered every aspect of controlling the cutout in dimensional space, with the X, Y, and rotation parameters being able to adjust along with shrinking and expanding etc. The anchor tool is useful for finding the right point on your image or canvas so that the adjustments look fluid. Add grouping and other tools I haven’t even figured out yet, this app can be used to make awesome realistic effects for your videos. Conversely it could be used to make quick funny videos depending on how much time you want to put into it. Overall I have immensely enjoyed this app and would highly recommend it. Developer Suggestions & insight for the curious review reader.1. Adding a frame by frame button to the animation layout for a better user experience when crafting finely tuned animations. Even though the timeline can be expanded to allow scrolling through sections of the video all the way down to .1milliseconds, when you want to get your tracking just right you have to manually scroll ever so slightly millisecond by millisecond for the snap tool to catch and anchor it. While indeed this is awesome including the thoughtful snap tool, it does get a bit tiring and a little annoying to slide manually frame by frame. A push button would be so helpful! 2. Also I find that even though your down to .1milliseconds there sometimes is still movement between milliseconds that the juxtaposed image needs to follow but the snap tool will push you to the next or previous millisecond. While it’s minor noticeable inaccuracy, I’m not sure if it’s possible to get below a millisecond adding half’s of milliseconds to the timeline? But would certainly be awesome! 3. A tracking system to anchor your image to a spot on the native video for it to follow...4.Improving the subpar cut out tool. While it’s nice to be able to add a photo and cut out a portion of that image within the app itself, there are really no options to do this other than the standard draw around tool. While it gets the job done it seems like it was probably not as an important of a feature when they created app and just gave it the basic cutout tool countless other apps use. It’s really a non-issue since you can utilize an app like Pixelmator or Affinity and save a png to your camera roll or open up in split screen and drag and drop a cutout you made from the other app. It would take a lot to have all the options found in the above apps, but would still be nice to have more options so you stay in the app.
